How to Create Your Own Affirmations

“I am” statements are incredibly powerful. We tend to believe what is after I am statements. You can either believe “I am silly, I am stupid, I am always screwing up” or you can train your mind to believe “I am trying, I am on my way, I am working to be the best I can be, I am proud of myself, etc”. Create your own mantras, by making some “I am” statements for yourself. Try out a few others, like “I will…” and “Today is…”
