Pokhara, Nepal is Magical
Why You Should Visit Pokhara, Nepal
Pokhara, Nepal is full on magical. It’s got it all - lots of adventurous activities, great food, and accommodations to fit all budgets; but what it really has is MOUNTAINS! Sitting with a beer beside Lake Phewa and watching the clouds roll across the snowcapped Himalayas is absolute perfection.
Where is Pokhara
Pokhara is located in central Nepal and is the second largest city, after Kathmandu, in the country. It borders Lake Phewa and is the gateway to the Annapurna range of the Himalayan Mountains. It’s nestled in a fertile valley surrounded by outstanding scenery.
How to Get There
Pokhara has a small airport that is most easily accessed via the Kathmandu International Airport. Currently, only a few airlines fly into Pokhara - the most popular being Yeti Airlines and Buddha Air. You could also take a bus from Kathmandu, but it’s long, bumpy ride! Check the out listings here.
